Go-To Ribs

Our dad, Marc, made the best ribs and his secret ingredient was his Magic Rub! For Marc, BBQ would be an all weekend activity. He had many different smokers and loved playing around the with temperature, cooking time, and amount of smoke until he found the perfect combination!

These ribs are the closest to Marc's without all the fancy smoking equipment. You can make these in your oven and you won't believe how easy they are. Season them liberally with a ton of Marc's Magic Rub and cook low and slow for 3 hours. Marc's perfect combination of brown sugar, garlic, cayenne, salt & more make for the more delicious ribs you'll ever have! Trust us 🙂

Baby Back or St. Louis Ribs
Marc's Magic Rub


Preheat oven to 300 degrees. You can do this slowly on a grill as well.

Remove the membrane off the back of the ribs. Season both sides liberally with Marc's Magic Rub. Let ribs sit out and come to room temperature for about 30 min before placing in oven. They will start to absorb the rub.

Cook for 2.5-3 hours under tender. If you want less "falling off the bone" check after 1.5 hours Optional: finish on the grill and/or with BBQ sauce.
